Community Health Equity Results

In 2020 our team conducted a survey of 18-30 year-olds living in Alamosa, CO. The survey consisted of 50 multiple choice and open ended questions in six topics.

How We Gave The Survey

  • 230 Surveys Completed

  • 211 Online Surveys Completed

  • 19 Paper Surveys completed 

  • 22 Surveys administered in Spanish (Online/Paper)

  • A certified translator and interpreter translated our survey & the responses

  • Of the 230 completed surveys 184 were 18-30 year olds

  • Our survey is representative of 16% of the young adult population in Alamosa

  • Our survey is representative of 7% of the Spanish speaking young adults in Alamosa

  • 60% of survey takers identified as being from Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish origin
  • 65% survey takers  identified as Female

  • 26% of survey takers reported using Spanish, Q’anjob’al, and Other languages most often at home
